Privacy Policy

Version 2026-10-30 · Effective October 30, 2026
The short version:
  • We collect what we need to run Lustre for you, and nothing for advertising.
  • No ads, no analytics trackers, and we never sell or share your data for advertising.
  • Your clients' and team's information belongs to your business. We only store it for you.
  • Our support team can open your account only when you turn on support access, and every visit is logged for you to see.
  • You can export or delete everything at any time from Settings.

1. Who this policy covers

This policy explains how Apta Cleaning LLC, doing business as Lustre App ("Lustre", "we"), handles personal information when you use the Lustre app and website. It covers two groups:

2. What we collect

Account information (from you)

Business data you enter (for your business)

Please don't enter Social Security numbers, bank or card numbers, health information or ID images. Lustre doesn't need them.

Technical information (automatically)

Stored on your device

Lustre uses your browser's local storage to keep your sign-in session, your preferences (such as language and theme), and, in "this device only" mode, all of your business data. In device-only mode that data never reaches our servers. These are strictly necessary for the app to work, so there's no cookie banner to accept.

3. How we use information

We do not use your business data or your clients' information for marketing, and we don't sell it to anyone or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

4. Who we share it with

We use these service providers, bound by contracts to protect the data and use it only to provide their service to us:

We may also disclose information if required by law or valid legal process, to protect the rights or safety of people or our service, or as part of a merger or sale of our business (with notice to you and the same protections).

Links you open from Lustre (Venmo, Zelle, Google Maps, Google reviews, your phone's messaging or email app) take you to those services, which have their own privacy policies. Payment QR codes are generated on your device; your payment handles aren't sent to a QR service.

5. Support access and staff access

Our staff can see your business's name, plan, sign-up date and the number of records it holds. They cannot open the contents of your account (clients, team, jobs, finances) unless you turn on support access in Settings for a period you choose, up to 30 days. Each time support opens or changes your account it's recorded in a log that you can see. You can switch access off at any time. Access without your permission happens only if required by law or to stop serious harm or a security incident.

6. How long we keep it

7. Security

Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest by our database provider. Each business's records are separated by database rules that only let that business's signed-in owners and admins reach them, and we test those rules. Passwords are stored as secure hashes. Staff access is limited and logged as described above. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your information, we'll notify you without unreasonable delay and as required by law, including the Colorado data-breach notification law, so you can meet any obligations to your own clients and team.

8. Your choices and rights

You can view, correct, export and delete your data yourself in the app. You can also email support@golustre.com to ask us to access, correct, delete or provide a copy of personal information we hold about you, or to appeal a decision about such a request. Depending on where you live, including California, Colorado, Virginia and other US states, you may have these rights by law. We'll verify your identity before acting and reply within the time the law requires (generally 45 days). We won't treat you differently for using your rights. Because we don't sell or share personal information for advertising, there's nothing to opt out of; we honor Global Privacy Control signals regardless.

If you're a client or team member of a business that uses Lustre, that business controls your information. Please contact them; if you contact us, we'll pass your request to them.

9. Children

Lustre is for businesses and isn't directed to children under 13. You must be 18 to create an account. We don't knowingly collect information from children; if you think we have, contact us and we'll delete it.

10. Where data is stored

Lustre is operated from the United States and stores data in the United States. If you use it from elsewhere, your information will be transferred to and processed in the US.

11. Changes to this policy

We'll post updates here with a new version date. For material changes, we'll notify you by email or in the app at least 30 days before they take effect.
